Hello Sunshine Package

I just love to go to the mailbox and see if I have any happy mail, don't you?  And isn't it nice when it's a total surprise?  I think getting mail is great, but sending surprise mail is even better.  This is a fun way to send someone some little items and let them know that you are thinking of them.

A few months ago I had a crafting night with a friend.  We made a couple cards together.  I'm a beginner card maker, so mine were not so perfect looking.  I'd like to keep working on making more and getting better because I see ones that are so cute all the time.

After I finished the cards, I posted a picture of them on my Facebook page.  My good friend Jen commented on how cute they were and I told her that she should look for some sunshine in her mailbox soon.  At first I thought I would just send her the "Hello Sunshine" card, but then thought that it would be fun to put together some other items and mail her a sunshine package.

I made this cute Cheerful Birdhouse and had fun decorating it. (see the post here)

Then I went shopping for some other little items I thought that she would like.  I still wanted to make one more thing for her, so I decided to do a makeover on a composition book. (see post here)

I wrote her a note on the card, then sent the package to her.  Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the packaged items.

Here's a list of the items in the package I sent:
decorated craft birdhouse
altered composition book
2 spools ribbon
1 small sun stamp
1 bottle yellow nail polish
1 container Ice Breakers lemon gum
1 bottle ICE pina colada flavored sparkling water
1 sheet yellow flower stickers

While I was writing this post, I thought how nice it would have been to include a little printable with her package.  So I made one up and am going to include it here for you.  I have an image you can just save to your computer and print it that way, or you can download the PDF of it and use it that way.  Whichever works best for you!

Let me know in the comments if you would like a copy of a single 4x5 of the "Hello Sunshine" emailed to you.

I thought this was a nice way to brighten the day of someone that is important.  It's nice to know that someone is thinking of you.  Who would you send a "Hello Sunshine" package to?
