I don't know about your kids, but mine sometimes don't like to try new things. They are more willing when the food is presented in a new way. I was looking for some fun ideas for snacks and found these 9 ideas that I think lots of kids would like.
These wraps are a staple at our house during the school year. My daughter likes to add a drizzle of honey...and a few extra mini chocolate chips.
These layered jello snacks are tasty and fun.
I haven't made these yet, but I'm sure my kids would love them.
We love French Toast at our house and these were a hit when I made them.
A sneakily healthy banana split.
We haven't tried this one yet either, but when I showed the picture to my girls they wanted me to make it tomorrow for snack time.
Want to add a few veggies to their pizza? Have them make their favorite animal.
Wraps seem like a fun way to eat lunch.
I made these for the 4th of July and my girls ate the whole bowl in a few minutes.
What are some fun foods your kids like?
A saw a few on that we are going to try. Some of these are also good to use for themed parties.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found some you will try. I think we will have a ocean party and I will let the girls make the graham crackers.
DeleteThose all look like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI know! Sometimes I make our food like this "for the kids", but really because it's a fun presentation and I like it too. =)
DeleteLove these ideas! They are so fun and cute. Makes it much more exciting when eating meals. I bet it really helps with picky eaters too.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest daughter has an aversion to different textures of food. When I use ideas like this it helps her to be willing to try new things. It doesn't always work out as a success, but just having her try foods is worth it.
DeleteThose french toast rollups sound awesome!
ReplyDeleteThey are very tasty Becky!
DeleteThese all look so good, but I'm in love with the under the sea graham crackers!
ReplyDeleteThey do look so fun.
DeleteWhat great food items! The fishy crackers are adorable! I should totally try some of these to see if they would get my picky eater to eat something new!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Elizabeth! I know how you feel. =)
DeleteOh my goodness all of these are so much fun! I love those Under The Sea Graham Crackers!! Thanks so much for including my Avengers Jello Treats...you are the best!!
ReplyDeleteIt was my pleasure. We have made your jello twice and my girls think it's the most fun thing ever. =)
