In one of my previous posts, I mentioned that I try to find deals at the local thrift store to re-purpose into new craft ideas. I generally don't work on Monday, so I take a trip to the thrift stores in the area to see if there are any interesting items.
This week I got lucky! I found two wooden letters that I'm going to re-paper and decorate. For the size that I found, they are between $5-$6 each at the craft stores. I was able to get both of them for a total of of $1! The little green cabinet is a jewelry holder. I plan to spruce it up with a new coat of paint. The little sign with the ribbon says "Bath" and all I have to do is add hanging hardware to the back and I'm going to use it in our spare bathroom. I'd have to say it was a great day at the thrift store. I spent a total of $3 and have three crafts to work on!
